Alexander Osterwalder
Dr. Alexander (Alex) Osterwalder is the Founder and CEO of Strategyzer and a Visiting Professor at IMD Business School. He is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading thinkers on strategy, innovation, and growth.
Osterwalder is best known for co-creating the Business Model Canvas with Yves Pigneur, a strategic management tool used by millions of entrepreneurs, leaders, and organizations worldwide to design, test, and manage business models. Together they also developed the Value Proposition Canvas and other practical tools that help teams turn ideas into viable businesses.
He is the author of five global bestsellers, including Business Model Generation and Value Proposition Design, which have been translated into more than 40 languages, as well as a business comic that introduces innovation concepts to younger audiences.
