Faisal Alqethami
A seasoned innovation and strategy professional with over 15 years of experience across corporate innovation, new venture development, and business advisory. Currently, Managing Partner of Astar Company, a specialized innovation advisory firm, enabling enterprises to de-risk new ventures, build repeatable innovation capability, design ecosystems that connect to the wider market, and convert strategy into validated growth.
Previously, Head of Digital Innovation at Riyad Bank, leading the bank’s innovation strategy, the WSL open innovation and Molhem internal innovation programs. Formerly, led the innovation program at Al Rajhi Bank, establishing the Innovation Center, enterprise innovation program, and internal innovation funnel; and served as Senior Business Development Advisor at Badir Program for Technology Incubators, running the Jeddah Incubator and the western region’s bootcamp and accelerator programs.
Active across the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem as a mentor, facilitator, trainer, and judge.
